The Serpent

The Serpent represents transformation and illumination. It is an animal and symbol that is often reverenced and held in high regard by ancient cultures. The Serpent plays a huge role in mythology and is often misunderstood, demonized and misrepresented by those who do not understand its true meaning. With the shedding of our skin, we can leave behind and let go of our old selves to transform into better versions of ourselves. In this process we are keeping our eyes set on the light to find our way back home by walking on the straight and narrow path that leads to life.

Our mission

Through ''the way of the Serpent'' we want to assist in the healing and uplifting of humanity. We mainly do this through the plant medicine retreats we organise. When an individual heals they are not only healing themselves, but also the people around them. Together we are the healing of the nation!  Besides doing plant medicine retreats we also offer tools that will assist you in your healing. We only buy stock from people that we have personally worked with and want to support. They share our vision to spread love, healing and light in order to raise the collective frequency of the planet.

Meet the team

Antonio is the founder of Way of the Serpent Retreats and will be leading the ceremonies. He started working with the medicine in 2016. He has done various master plant dieta’s in Peru and worked and learned under different shamans about the traditional way of serving the medicine and holding space. Antonio’s mission is to hold space for people to receive the healing and teachings of the medicine so that they will step into their power and contribute in their own way to spread light into this world. Shortly after stepping into shamanism Antonio picked up the guitar and other various instruments which he uses during ceremonies. The name way of the serpent comes from the idea of how we can shed our old skin and transform into our true essence. The serpent also represents ancient wisdom of truth and light, which we need during this process. Antonio´s motto: together, we are the healing of the nation!

Cindy is Antonio’s mom and started her journey with the medicine in 2017. After working in an Ayahuasca center she also delved into shamanism and has had multiple teachers and done masterplant dieta’s in Peru. The medicine rekindled her passion for singing and being creative. She makes a lot of jewelry, natural herbs, oils and other things under the name Madre Tierra. She has a deep connection with the earth and the ancient grandmothers and shares their wisdom and empowerment with a lot of love and warmth to those around her.
